Purpose

  • Develop identified leadership potential
  • Create a network of younger business leaders
  • Provide emerging leaders with a better understanding of the current business environment
  • Develop emerging leaders interaction with Wagga’s business community
  • Give emerging leaders an input on what they can contribute to Wagga Wagga

 

Program Structure

The Emerging Leaders Program is an experiential learning program held over 12 months.

 

The course is designed to build leadership capacity in individuals who have an identified or proven leadership potential. The program covers a range of business and local topics in areas such as law, branding, human resources, current regional issues, economic development, finance, the media and achieving your personal potential.

 

Topics and guest speakers are selected to equip emerging leaders with the knowledge and skills to face the challenges and opportunities impacting the Wagga Wagga region today and in the future.

 

The Emerging Leaders Program is aimed specifically at equipping the region’s future leaders and there is an emphasis on commitment to the community of Wagga Wagga.

Selection Process

Applicants must be nominated by a Corporate, Executive, Business or Foundation Level Member.

 

Successful applicants are selected to form a balanced representation of type and size of industry or community organisation and experience to better enhance the learning environment of the program.

 

How to Apply

This program is currently being reviewed by Committee4Wagga’s Board of Management and it’s future direction will be decided in 2018.
