Franchisees, Ben and Kylie O’Sullivan operate both Quest Wagga Wagga and Quest Rockhampton & Eileen is the Business Development Manager for both properties. Building on their success of Quest Wagga Wagga winning the 2019 NSW/ACT Franchise of the Year, Quest are looking forward to developing business opportunities in both markets.

Eileen joined the Quest team 3 years ago after providing private accommodation to guests travelling to Wagga Wagga. Eileen previous experience gave her insights into what travelers are looking for when they are away from home.

‘To say that we are ‘just a hotel’ undervalues the home away from home service we provide to our guests.’

‘Don’t stagnate, innovate has been our approach throughout 2020, allowing us to identify what’s required in a volatile marketplace and exceed guest expectations.’ Quest Wagga Wagga took a proactive approach to the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in the hotel receiving a national 100% COVID Safe rating and international COVID-19 safety standard accreditation.

Eileen and the Quest team have a focus on Wagga Wagga and supporting the entire town. ‘We share information and business throughout Wagga Wagga, particularly with Council, to ensure our city is prepared to support the businesses and events that are investing here. Where possible we will provide recommendations to other hotels and businesses as this helps to secure local businesses and the town.’

‘It’s all about developing relationships, developing trust. If you work with your town, then the town works for you. We are all in it together.’

Eileen says she has confidence in joining Committee for Wagga due to the mutual understanding that whilst ‘you’ve got to protect and grow your business, and recognise there is competition, the end game is to better our city.’

‘We need to help people realise Wagga Wagga is a town worth staying in and coming back to.’
